Registration is now open for Mount Laurel Recreational Basketball Leagues!  More details are below!!!

Please use the following Registration Link!

You will be able to register multiple children at one time and pay within our site.  Payment is accepted using credit or debit cards or ACH checks. You cannot register without paying. If you must pay by cash or paper check, you can reach out to us to arrange a time to collect payment and register.  Registration for Instructional leagues are K through 2 and will cost $85 per participant.  The Intramural leagues will be for grades 3 through 12.  The fees are $140 per participant.

Registration Period

Registration will remain open until November 7th.  If you elect to register after that date, your child will not be guaranteed a spot in his or her particular league. In addition, we will impose late fees of $25 per player for anyone who registers after November 7th.

Our Intramural leagues are typically 10 to 12 game seasons.  Practices usually begin in the first week of December, after initial Evaluations are done.  The kids are “drafted” on to teams to ensure competitive balance in the leagues.   These leagues typically practice one night a week and play games on Saturday/Sunday.  There will be instances where there will be games during weeknights as well during the season.

Our Instructional leagues usually begin the first week of December as well.  In those leagues, the children will work with coaches to learn the fundamental skills of the game while participating in fun skill based games and drills.  Coaches can choose to play games against an opposing team if they would like, with parent/coach referees.  We do not keep score in these leagues ever, as we really want the children to learn how to play the game!

Typically, while we try to honor special requests for teammates and coaches, we cannot guarantee that all of the requests will be able to be accommodated.  Also of note, in these leagues, players can expect to receive just about the same playing time as everyone else.  We generally try to limit rosters to 8 kids so that everyone can enjoy playing.

All of our Grade Level Instructional and Intramural leagues will have independent commissioners who will schedule practice and game slots for each team.  We are always looking for people who are willing to take on this effort.  IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU WOULD ENJOY ADMINISTERING THE LEAGUE FOR YOUR CHILDS GRADE LEVEL, PLEASE REACH OUT!!  Another option for those that want to volunteer their time is to be a Grade Level Coach.  Both the Commissioners and Coaches are essential for the success of your child’s league.  As stated above – PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN COACHING OR REGISTER ON THE REGISTRATION PAGE!

The coach registration link can also be found here:

Coach Registration

If you registered for travel tryouts for this winter season, you do not need to register for Rec.  If your child is not selected for a travel team, we will roll their registration over to the Intramural league for which they are eligible.

Registration is open to residents of Hainesport and Mount Laurel townships only!

Hainesport Residents

Due to the weekend gym usage policy enacted several years ago in Hainesport, it became necessary for the school board to charge us a fee to use the Hainesport gym on the weekends.  In order to fund this charge, we need to charge a $15.00 facilities fee to all Hainesport players.  Hainesport residents please be sure to select the correct residency field when you register or we will have to void your registration to allow you to register correctly a 2nd time.

The season will take place from December 2021 through mid March 2022.  Generally we play Monday through Sunday.  The schedule is yet to be determined for grade level practices and games, but will be communicated by the commissioners once they are selected and they set up the schedule.

Health and Safety Protocols

Please note that during the season, EVERYONE ENTERING THE BUILDINGS MUST WEAR A MASK!  Once inside the gym, masks will be optional while your child is actively engaged in gameplay.  ALL SPECTATORS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS WHILE IN THE SCHOOLS.  There will be no exceptions to this rule.

We are working on a potential Challenger League.  If we are able to offer it this season, we will communicate that in the next few weeks.
