Mount Laurel Basketball has started to plan for the upcoming basketball season. We are working to ensure that we have facilities to host our programs and are hopeful to be back playing again this upcoming season. We have been notified by both the South Jersey Boys Basketball League (SJBBL) and the Inter-County Basketball League (ICBL) that the travel leagues intend to play this season. These leagues are for a more competetive experience within the 4th through 8th grades. With that in mind, we intend to open registration for travel tryouts the week of September 27th. The tryout registration period is 2 weeks! IT WILL CLOSE ON 10/10!!!
We will commence travel tryouts the week of 10/11 and hopefully have teams selected by the first of November.
We anticipate that in addition to the travel programs, we will be able to offer Intramural (Grades 3 through 12) and Instructional (grades K-2) this year. Registration for these programs will commence around the middle of October through the middle of November. An announcement with firm dates will be made as we get closer to the start of registration.
As always, please consider volunteering to help the league! We always need coaches and assistants, as well as people to manage the medical kits, scoreboards, etc. If you are interested in any volunteer positions, please contact us by emailing chris.beeler@mtlaurelbasketball.org, leaving a website message on www.mtlaurelbasketball.org!
During the season, we are committed to the health and safety of all league participants. All registrants should expect enhanced safety protocols to be implemented to comply with facility requirements.
We are looking forward to getting the season started and are hopeful to have a safe, fun, and fulfilling 2021-2022 season!
